2009 Abbey Cellars Malbec (Temptation) $ 28
Exotically scented with pickled prunes, soft cedar and strong, heady spices. On the palate it is juicy and plush with ripe berryfruits, warming, velvety tannins and a smooth, clinging finish.
A match for lamb cutlets coated in capers and crumbs.

A deep-purple red wine showing lifted aromas of raspberry, dark plum and a touch of spice and game. The palate is medium-full and succulent with smooth texture and fine, supple tannins. Bright white-gold colour with lifted, lime-infused floral aromas that lead to a delicately crafted, classic medium-dry style that's beautifully balanced and offers a delicious, clean-cut, minerally finish.
A great wine match with crisp, crunchy salt & pepper squid.

2009 Abbey Cellars Noble Riesling (Mary) $ 22
Scented with mellow citrus blossom and honeyed notes, this late harvest riesling has a zesty burst of refreshing mandarin and apricot sweetness followed by a crisp, clean finish.
Wonderful as an aperitif or as a well-deserved treat at the end of a great meal.

A gorgeous sweet wine displaying lifted aromas of lemon zest, marmalade and honey. The palate is medium-full and beautifully textured with lush sweetness (59 g/l) which is brilliantly balanced by the crisp acidity. The wine finishes refreshing and lingering. Ripe, rich and meaty with a complex, layered palate of mace, chocolate and aromatic dried herbs. Satisfying and warm on the finish with excellent length of flavour.
Enjoy with slow-cooked prime Angus beef rib smothered in garlic and mushrooms with rosemary roasted vegetables.

Classic scarlet and crimson hues in the glass with candy-ish, chocolatey aromas and hints of vanillin, soft pepper and raspberry characters on the palate.
Smooth, textural tannins that make this a lovely drop with a rich, Italian Bolognese or spicy, meat-laden pizza.

2005 Abbey Cellars Merlot Cabernet (Graduate) $ 25
Bright magenta colour and lifted cranberry, savoury spices and floral, baked strawberry characters coming through on the palette. A medium bodied Bordeaux with slippery-soft tannins.
Drink with cold meats, grainy bread and hearty condiments a-la-ploughmans lunch.
2005 Abbey Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon (Cardinal) $ 25
Dark crimson colour with soft spices and floral characters coming through on the nose. It is gentle and warming on the palate with smooth, fruity flavour, velvet tannins and a hint of anise and espresso to finish.
Drink with chargrilled eye fillet wrapped in prosciutto on garlic mash.
