DESCRIPTION:Phil Edwards Band  \nDriven by the frontman Phil\, the Phil Edwards Band represent a unique blend of\nhonest soulful music. \nThe Bands journey started back in 2009 in Auckland\, New Zealand\, Still with\nthe same members today Adrian Ashdown\, Timothy Williams\, and Phil Edwards. \nPhil takes a fresh honest stance while writing his lyrics and creates his songs\nfrom a place within his heart\, all his songs you hear are based on real life\nexperience and therefore producing relatable listening joy. \nIts always been DIY journey for the band and they have worked hard to create\ntheir own pathway\, they have achieved great success both on and off the stage. \nThe band has toured both Nationally and Internationally multiple times\nperforming at major festivals in both Australian and New Zealand\, such as\nRhythm and Vines\, Festival of Lights\, Moomba water festival\, and Whangamata\nSummer festival. Phil and the band have shared the stage with well know names\nsuch as John Buter\, LAB\, Black seeds\, Tahuna Breaks and Thomas Oliver. \nPhil derives his energies from his creative flare and desire to build and create\,\nhe builds his songs melodies that somehow appear from no known source\,\nthere’s no reason or rhyme to them they just appear and transcend into music. \nPhils desire to create and express is seen through his own day time business\nbuilding tiny homes\, Phil and his family currently live in a tiny House in the\nHawkes Bay region\, Phil and his Partner Hannah are firm believers in living tiny\,\nthey believe their minimalistic lifestyle is food for the soul. \nPhil and the band are currently working with well known Kiwi producer Thomas\nOliver\, their 2nd and 3rd Album is something special\, and excitement is brewing\nas each single is released. \n12pm – Liberty starts off the day with a pre-performance\n1:30pm – Phil Edwards Band takes the stage for the main act \nHB Anniversary\, a great day out at the Abbey!!

SUMMARY:The Pukes
DESCRIPTION:The Pukes are not really a band. More a midlife crisis set to music. \nThey hail from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand. They began singing songs of The Clash\, Bowie\, The Ramones\, Johnny Cash\, classic kiwi songs (and the odd song recorded after the 70s) at the Cabana’s Hawkes Bay Ukulele Underground and just celebrated 11 years of mayhem playing bars and wineries around Hawkes Bay.  \nDue to an easily manipulated Facebook vote they won ‘best stage act’ at the 2013 Cabana Music awards. The word ‘travesty’ may well apply here. Vainly\, they have begun writing and performing their own songs. The Pukes released their debut single in 2015. It’s a love song from a computer to a human\, it got some radio play\, and it won best EP at the 2015 Cabana music awards through yet another Facebook vote. Democracy rules.  \nThe Pukes play the songs they enjoy and hope you enjoy them too. However\, if you bribe them enough they might even play ‘Wagon Wheel’.
