Jazz in the Vines- Spring Edition

Join us for a spring day of jazz with vocalist Lady Larisa, renowned pianist Ben Fernandez and their jazz band.

Enjoy the smooth, sultry tones of Lady Larisa who is a well known jazz vocalist in Hawkes Bay. Lady Larisa has toured internationally and opened for Michael Bublé at his Mission concert. She recently recorded a jazz EP which will be released soon. Besides writing her own material, she loves the styles of singers like Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Dusty Springfield and Sade.

Ben Fernandez is one of the top pianists in the country and has a style that can adapt to any genre with ease. He is formally trained in Western Classical music and has a degree in jazz. Ben has composed for movies, jingles and played all over the world. It is really a treat to have him here playing in Hawkes Bay for Jazz in the Vines.

The combination of Lady Larisa, Ben Fernandez and a great band will make for a musical treat in beautiful surroundings.
